One sort of estranged family where we clearly have a black sheep. Lasse. Lazy, drinking to much, clearly unwilling to be a part of the rest of the family: The mom, the dad and the brother, Vincent. All set in a quite idyllic place where the cows has long, curly hair tickeling their eyes.
Sometimes you hear a story that is so wierd and wonderfully crazy that it almost sounds like fiction. This is the case with this one. The (secret, sorry) story this movie derives from. Sønnike. The director, Jesper Quistgaard, dives deep into the story of a relationship between two brothers with a very different outlook on life - both of them trying to get by, be happy, and furnish a life that they want to live. Sønnike is set to be a lovestory where trauma, loss, blue hair (don't care), and frozen lasagna goes hand in hand in a very small city where everybody knows your name. Including the furry cows.
Sønnike is currently in post-production and is expected in theatres come 2024.
